Pixie trotted into the grounds looking at the other mares that were around. Her orbs were looking all over to see if there was any danger. Pixie trotted over to a tree and stayed in the shade. With the shade hitting her coat made it turn into a blackish color. She swished her tail to get a deer fly off her back. She looked around to see if there was any stallions around but didnt see any. She looked around the tree trunk at some of the other horses. She hoped a nice stallion would come to claim her fastly!
Pixie closed her eyes and remembered how she used to live with her mother and father. She smiled at the good times she had, had. Pixie had a brother foal that thought he was all that. Pixie wanted a fine stallion that would be just like her father.

He gazed around him. Everything was silent, too silent. His mother had gone off to search for something, he wasn’t to clear on what exactly she had gone in search of, all he knew was he wanted her to hurry back. He froze as the thundering of hooves reached him, growing form faint to loud. The screech of a mare could be heard as well as his name above the thundering. He glanced back to see what was going on, what had disturbed the silence? A band of stallions galloped towards him, he turned and sped away across the meadow. What had happened to his mother? Where was she? He weaved hurriedly through the trees; lucky for him he was so much smaller, so therefore getting around was easier. Until now. A huge log blocked his way, it was just another obstacle. He sped up somewhat and hurled himself over it. He tripped on the other side though picked himself up as the grounds vibration kept him from blacking out. He quickly turned and made a sharp turn right through the dark forest. He could see a meadow, juts visible. The moon was acting as a spotlight, shining down on a majestic figure lying stained in red in the middle of the grassy field. He instantly knew who it was; there was no time to stop now. He shook his dial and instantly regretted it. Everything turned hazy and blurred. He staggered to the left, trying to keep balance. It didn’t work. He felt his legs give way to the earth below. The cold ground met him as he fell to the soil, he couldn’t run anymore. It was all over. At least now he could be with his mother again, right? He let hid dial rest upon the ground as blackness crept upon him.
Wrong. This was worse then death; this was worse then eternal torture. He had known his sire was dark, but he didn’t expect to meet him, at least not that early in his life. His father had renamed him; indeed his birth name had not been Nyoka. No it had been Akoyn, just a reverse. He gazed up at his sire, that renaming had been terrible. They had covered him in blood then made him walk into freezing water just to prove he wasn’t weak, if he had his way he would have chosen to just die. But apparently his sire thought he had potential. So what if he had been told to call him all those stupid names, Nyoka would call him whatever he liked. And he would use his real name. He looked away at the other foals whom had been taken prisoner. He looked back to his sire as his name was called Yes Adtrastos? he asked quietly. He didn’t care he wasn’t calling him, sire, your highness, or lord. It was not happening. He staggered back as one of the stallions keeping him where he was gave him a blow to the head. Blood was running steadily form his dial. He looked away, when would this end, if ever. He wanted to be back in the field with his friend Lost Promise. He didn’t hear his name being called and felt himself be pushed to the ground. He stood up shakily and glared at his sire before being led towards a cave. They locked all maybe 25 foals in with no escape. Rage coursed through him he rested himself on the floor, nothing he could do. In fact nothing he could probably ever do. They would most likely keep them all here until their dying day. You could never tell with darks, unpredictable devils, well most of them.
Wrong again. Sure Nyoka had freedom. In fact he was prized as he grew. They began to draw him away from the other foals. They had brought Lost Promise in a while back and they had been closer then ever. But now he was kept away from them. He hated it. But today his sire was mentoring him; he said he has a surprise for Nyoka. He could only dream of what it would be, certainly not anything good. He waited patiently for his sire, knowing he probably didn’t want to know what the surprise was. He shifted his weight uneasily as he caught sight of his sire and the other foal Locke as they approached him. He knew Alcander was ill. His sire always killed the weak and sick members. As they came to a halt near him, he could see Alcander shaking uncontrollably. He listened silently, fear growing within him as he heard his task, no, surely not! He couldn’t do it, no he wouldn’t. But his father’s icy stare broke him down. He looked at Locke who was still shaking. I’m very sorry Alcander he said. He just wanted to get it over it and done with. Rearing up he crashed down upon Locke’s skull. The other colt’s orbs glazed over with death and he gave a rattling sigh, which ended in silence. He hadn’t deserved it. He shook his dial slightly, furry burning in his orbs. He looked at his father You… he said before turning and heading back down the hill. He felt so guilty, he had just murdered someone. He couldn’t believe it. He wished there had been another way, but there wasn’t. Picking up a three beat he rushed down and flew past everyone. He wanted to go. He wanted to leave this place, forever. He would never forget the look on Alcanders face as he lay dying. Ever. He would never go dark. He wouldn’t fight unless it was a last resort.
But his father kept trying to make him go dark; though he never succeeded he knew it brought agony to Septimus. Given Septimus was slightly darker then when he had first arrived; he did have a dark side now. He hadn’t forgotten Locke either. The thought still tortured him. He closed his orbs though opened them quickly. Every time he closed his spheres he saw Locke. The colt haunted his once pleasant dreams. That was before he had been taken here. He gazed up at his sire that stood where he had first seen him. Now it was his time to escape. A year and a half of this was enough for him. Striking out at the stallion beside him he fled towards Lost Promise. But he was caught. Curse his d**ned sire. He looked up, they were discussing his punishment. And he couldn’t have wished for better, exile. He had won; he had forced his sire into letting him be free. Of course now all he had to endure where the final beating upon him. But once he was free life could be better. He knew sometime his sire would find him, and next time he did, he wouldn’t let Nyoka live. Wait. No he wouldn’t take the beating. He kicked out at them again and took off, faster then when he had been chased by them as a foal, faster then he had ever run. He jumped over the river and looked back at them, they had stopped and were calling out at him, swearing revenge. He rolled his orbs and continued on not stopping for a brief second to even catch his breath. As he got a good ways away he stopped to rest. That had been tiring. Now he just wanted to start over a new life. He had heard of lands to the far east of here. Maybe he would go there. Reaching his decision he drifted into a dreamless sleep…
Akoyn looked around him, he had changed his name back once he escaped, he wouldnt live with the name his sire had given him, that just wasnt right. He could rememeber every detail of those days. Hard to endure, oh yes. He had recently claimed Carnation Meadows, yet he had no one to share the beautiful terra with. So that was why he had come to. The terra was beautiful but one thing was missing, and that was companionship. He looked around to see if any lone femme’s were around. He tossed his dial to rid tresses of his visionaries. He sighed lightly, no one so far but he couldn’t give up, not that easily. He was feeling content with a hint of joy and acceptance. After the drama in his past he finally felt like he had some freedom. Chocolate spheres gave a quick sweep of the lands again. He had to keep trying. Propellers carried his figure forwards at a three beat. Gladiator propelled himself over a log and landed smoothly on the other side. Feathers and ribbon whipped around in the wind as pace was picked up to a four beat. Orbs caught sight of a lone femmorta in the distance. He slowed to a two beat and made his way towards her. Akoyn stopped near her and dial gave a dip before kissers parted to release his melody Lo I be Akoyn, may I ask your blessing? he asked, he had finally found someone and was glad he hadn’t given up. If he had he would not have stumbled upon this mare that stood before him.

Pixie looked up and opened her orbs to see a stallion was talking to her. She thought the stallion was talking to yet another young fae that was around the grounds. Pixie was a little shy but she finally managed to say something. Hello there Akoyn I am Pixie Dust buy you may call me Pixie if you would like! Pixie looked down at her brown hoof and smiled to herself. This fine young stallion looked exactly like the type that she wanted. She fixed her orbs on him and then looked at him. She could see there was hurt in his eyes and wished she could fix that.
Pixie's sire was tough but nice and caring. He never liked to make people mad and he would hardly fight unless it involved there family. Her mother was sometimes stubborn and she wouldnt let them go anyway. She hardly let Pixie leave to come here and start her own life. Her sister had gotten hurt when she was a young filly because she snuck away from the herd one night and a stallion from the dark side made her run in water and then run and jump and she ended up hurting herself.
Pixie wondered what this stallion was thinking and she wanted to know more about him.

Auds gave a slight flick as he listened to her lyrics. He nodded his dial, A lovely name for a lovely fae he said sincerely. He meant it. Same with his promises if he said it 99.9% of the time he meant it. Unless of course he was joking around. Considering his past it was hard to believe he was a light. Akoyn had been raised by his dark sire. But Akoyn was of the pure hearted. He had to live with the burden of having ‘dirty blood’ as some called it just because his dam with light and his sire was dark. It was stupid. He shook his dial slightly at the thought, also to clear his mind. He turned his attention back to the duchess that stood before him. Is there anything you wish to know…or share? he asked. If she felt like sharing her past or anything she could go ahead but he preferred to leave the past in the past, he wouldn’t tell of his past…yet. Maybe because he was afraid he would be judged, maybe not. Only time would tell. Maybe when he could trust her completely he would tell her. Akoyn had trust issues and it was hard for him to trust. But who could blame him after all he had been through. He unlike her had a dapple gray pelt. And stood at 16.2 hands high. Which was normal for his breed, being Thoroughbred. As he waited for her reply he allowed his thoughts to drift somewhat. She reminded him of his cousin Lost Promise. He may never see her ever again. And that was depressing.

Pixie looked at the stallion. He did seem really nice also. Thank you! I would like to share my past with you. My past was okay but some bad times to. But I am willing to share with you!Pixie said to the stallion. She was short compared to him. She was only a Mustang standing at 15 hands tall. Ok about my past... I lived in a terra with my sire and dam. My sire was mostly gone and my dam was meeting with other stallions behind my sires back. I hated it that I new a secret that my father didnt know. I had a sister who was into adventure! Our mother was protective of us but one night my sister got out of our terra. It was terrible because she was hanging by the cold river and then a stallion came up to her. Of course he was a dark. He made her run into the river on a really cold winter night and then jump something. She ended up hurting herself and barely being able to walk. She ended up hobbling home and falling asleep. Then she got better and then when she finally did a herd of horses came and took over our terra. So we were living in the wild. When we finally found another safe terra I was off to live on my own with my own family! Pixie revealed about her past. She normally never would have dont htat put she trusted him!

He nodded, he knew what it was like to be controlled he had been his fathers apprentice though also his slave. He shook his dial slightly think of all the other slaves. He turned his attention back to Pixie Dust. I never usually speak of my own, not exactly that happy he said. Akoyn couldn’t help but wonder what had become of Lost Promise, his cousin. He sighed quietly, no time to think about that he needed to concentrate on Pixie Dust right now. He would wonder later. He raised his dial to look at the suns rays which had begun to fade as the sun began to set and the moon began to rise. He turned his gaze back to Pixie Dust. The moonlight made her look even more stunning. He tried to find the right words for what he was about to ask her. I was wondering if you want to join me in Carnation Meadows he said finally, as he lyrics broke the everlasting silence, he realized, this was not so hard. He watched her, waiting, waiting for her reply. What if she said no? Well then he was screwed right then and there. But it was completely her choice and he wouldnt force her to say yes, never would force her or anyone to do anything, he had enough of that. Definitly enough. And yet he could never erase the picture of his mothers body lying dead in the moonlight. It haunted him constantly. But he never did mention his past, the past was the past and he wanted it to be kept where it belonged, or his anyways.

That is ok you dont wish to speak your past!Pixie said smiling. She understood and she didnt really want to force him to tell his past. Whenever she heard the word forced she would cringe becuase her sister was forced to jump that log and it hurt her. Pixie smiled when she heard the question. Of course she wanted to go with him! I'd love to join you in your terra! I think it would be wonderful! Pixie said her mood lightining up. She wasnt in a bad mood but it wasnt all that great before he showed up. Her mood was great now! She was happy to have someone around. It boosted her social level. She had a smile painted on her kissers. She smiled and rubbed her nuzzle against his.
