Canyon Blues loped smoothly and gracefully into this terra, his great head held high, his mane and tail waving behind him like flags. He arched his neck and pricked his ears forward, then to the sides and he listened for his first mare, Elyria. He snorted softly and stopped, standing on the soft grass with his head held high, the white blaze on his forehead standing out like a splash of snow on his blue-colored body.
The sun shone powerfully down on Blue's coat as he waited for his new fae. He lifted his muzzle to the sky and winnied loudly, pricked his ears and he lifted his head and tail, waiting for Elyria, his eyes sparkling and his body quivering with happiness.

The dappled mare gracefully followed Blue, her fluttering silver banner behind her. Her demure head bobbed up and down, blue pools curious, as well as cautious. She halted beside the lead, looking around. "Is this the place?" she asked, looking fondly into Canyon Blue's eyes. Already the shy, fearful mare had warmed up to the stallion. Her slim pillars pranced in place, overrun with energy. A smiled played upon her mug, brightening her expression.
Elyria's silver pelt glinted in the sun, and she whinnied happily to the lead stallion. This was her home! Her slender bodice pressed against his, their pelts mingling. "It's lovely!"

Canyon Blues snorted softly as she pressed her coat against his. He smiled and shook his head gently, then pricked his ears forward, his eyes sparkling.
"This is it...Crecent Hollow. I'm glad you like it."
He said softly. He turned and touched her gently with his muzzle, then pulled back a bit and smiled again.

Elyria touched her mug to his in return, smiling with joy. "It's beautiful..." she nickered, bright blue pools taking in everything around her. She was so happy to finally have a home! She looked at Blue, with a modest whinny: "It's just nice to be able to stay in one place."

Blue smiled and shook his head gently, then tossed his head up and took off at a gentle lope, his head high and his ears pricked forward. But he turned his head slightly and flicked an ear back, looking back at Elyria.
"I'll race you to that tree over there!"
He said, slowing down to a trot as he waited for her answer. The tree was maybe a quarter of a mile away, a tall pine tree with twisted and gnarled branches, seeming to go in every direction. The tree was so tall that the sun blinded your eyes before you could see the top. Blue nickered softly and slowed down a bit more, waiting.

Smiling, Elyria struck off at a sprint, a playful glint in her blue eyes. "Are you coming?" she called over her shoulder, silver pelt rippling with her muscles. Her slim pilllars barely made a noise against the ground sas she ran, ribbon streaming behind her. Looking up at the treetop, she squinted against the sunlight, but kept running. She dropped her gaze to the treetrunk again, pools darting backwards to check Blue's location. "Hurry up!"
